As a tyre retailer, we recognise our responsibility for what happens to products after the end of their service life — which is why we have joined Estonia’s leading environmental systems that ensure used tyres are directed into recycling rather than into nature.
Auto Globe is a member of ETR
Estonian Tire Recycling (ETR) is a forward-looking producer responsibility organisation whose vision is environmentally friendly and transparent tyre management. ETR’s mission is to give used tyres a new life by directing them back into circulation through recycling — rather than simply meeting the minimum legal requirements.
As an ETR member, we ensure that tyres placed on the market through us are properly collected across Estonia, processed in an environmentally friendly manner, and become valuable raw material for new products.
Auto Globe is registered in the Problematic Products Register (PROTO)
PROTO is the Estonian national register that keeps track of products with a significant environmental impact — including tyres — from the moment they enter the market until they are recycled. The system ensures transparent producer responsibility and compliance with recovery targets. Auto Globe is duly registered with PROTO and submits all required data annually.
What does this mean for the customer?
When you buy tyres from Auto Globe, you can be confident that the producer responsibility fee is already included in the price, your old tyres will be accepted at our location and directed into official recycling, and your choice supports Estonia’s circular economy.
